Application description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Site Manager to oversee operations at our Nzove site. This position involves managing the production and maintenance of medical oxygen and nitrogen, handling debt collection, overseeing staff and vehicle management, coordinating deliveries, and managing inventories and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site or project management, finance-related tasks, and customer care, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure medical oxygen and nitrogen production.

  • Ensure the site and the oxygen and nitrogen plants are well maintained on time.

  • Keep records of preventive and curative maintenance of the oxygen and nitrogen plants.

  • Handle debt collection and prepare monthly trade receivables report.

  • Manage staff.

  • Oversee trucks and vehicle management.

  • Coordinate all deliveries of medical oxygen and nitrogen to different clients in a timely manner.

  • Regularly invoice clients.

  • Scan documents and invoices.

  • Coordinate all site activities.

  • Manage the inventories and assets.

  • Provide customer care for the company’s clients and visitors.

  • Respond to clients' needs and requests.

  • Collect invoices/documents from different sites, clients, and partners for filing.

  • Coordinate and oversee company tendering and procurement activities related to medical equipment, oxygen, and nitrogen.

  • Follow up on public tenders published on the Umucyo system.

  • Find new clients for oxygen and nitrogen.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

  • Manage fuel and vehicle management.

  • Handle petty cash and all supporting documents.

  • Ensure financial data confidentiality and conduct monthly database backups.

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the site.

  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Managing Director.

  • Perform other administrative activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Quality and Competence Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, business administration, or management.

  • High moral standards and integrity/honesty.

  • Good attitude, ethics, and professionalism.

  • Good listening and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Kinyarwanda and English, and preferably French.

  • Quick learner.

  • Finance skills.

  • Preferably a woman who can work under minimum supervision and under pressure.

Contract Terms:

  • One-year contract renewable with a 3-month probation period.
