We are looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative individual to join SevenX as a Quality Assurance Intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance for modern web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure the reliability, usability, and performance of every product we ship.

This is an active, hands-on role. You will have a real voice in our product development process, thinking creatively about how things can break, using modern tools to work efficiently, and helping the team maintain a high quality bar.

• Test web and mobile applications thoroughly across devices, browsers, and user scenarios
• Execute manual test cases and document test results with precision and clarity
• Identify, report, and track software defects using industry-standard issue-tracking tools
• Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, verify, and follow up on software issues through to resolution
• Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions to proactively identify potential test scenarios
• Perform regression testing to maintain software stability
• Work with the design team to ensure UI/UX meets intended specifications and visual standards
• Use AI-based tools to streamline repetitive testing workflows and improve efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test documentation
• Engage in team meetings to share insights on product quality and user experience

You can write a clear, well-structured bug report and explain a complex issue to a developer just as easily as a design concern to a non-technical stakeholder. You work well across multiple teams, ask the right questions, and keep everyone aligned. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Technical Foundation

A software engineering background is highly beneficial in this role. Hands-on familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will help you inspect elements, read code, and communicate effectively with developers. You should also have:

• Familiarity with web application architecture and frontend/backend interactions
• Basic knowledge of API testing concepts
• Exposure to test management and bug tracking tools such as Jira or Linear

You create structure where there is none. You build checklists, track progress, generate reports, and follow up without being asked. You treat documentation as a core part of the job, not an afterthought.

Creative Problem-Solving

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field - Fundamental understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies - Basic technical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Strong analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proactive learning attitude with willingness to acquire new testing tools and techniques - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with web application architecture and basic API testing concepts
• Exposure to test management or bug tracking tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to document and track work systematically
• Comfortable using AI tools for productivity and testing efficiency
• A portfolio, coursework, or project examples showing attention to detail and technical aptitude is a bonus
