The Sales & Operations Planning Manager will be a critical strategic role responsible for coordinating complex planning processes across the organization's supply chain and operations departments.

Own the S&OP Process

• Own and manage the monthly S&OP cycle, including demand review, supply review, production review, and decision/escalation preparation. Improve the process continuously.
• Ensure all relevant functions provide timely and accurate inputs into the planning process.
• Maintain one integrated planning view across sales demand, supply capacity, production, inventory, and installation timing.

Demand, Supply, and Production Alignment:

• Translate commercial pipeline, confirmed projects, and demand forecasts into supply and production planning requirements.
• Balance customer demand with constraints in cell supply, material availability, testing throughput, production capacity, and deployment schedules.
• Prepare alternative planning scenarios where supply, quality, or demand uncertainty affects execution.

Material Planning Support:

• Support the Head of Supply Chain & Operations in battery cell & material supply planning by translating forecast and project demand into cell/material requirements.
• Work with supply chain operations (procurement/logistics), quality, engineering, and production to understand material constraints, yield assumptions, and readiness risks.
• Maintain visibility of supply gaps, overstock risks, and timing mismatches.

Production Planning Coordination:

• Coordinate production planning inputs with the Production Manager and ensure the production plan is aligned with demand priorities and material readiness.
• Ensure production planning assumptions are updated and realistic.
• Track plan versus actual and identify causes of deviation with the production manager

Planning Analysis and Reporting

• Produce planning dashboards, planning assumptions, supply-demand gap analysis, and executive summaries for review.
• Track forecast accuracy, plan adherence, readiness indicators, and planning exceptions.
• Support escalation of major risks affecting delivery performance or operational commitments.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. The role requires 4-6 years of experience in planning, supply chain, or operational analysis, with strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively with uncertainty. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in scenario planning, data handling, and strategic thinking across complex operational environments.
