Job Summary
The Head of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational functions within the company, ensuring seamless integration across production, quality control, supply chain, field services, and maintenance. This role provides strategic direction, drives operational excellence, and leads a team of managers to achieve business objectives related to efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Head of Operations reports directly to the executive leadership and is accountable for delivering consistent, scalable, and cost-effective operations.
Responsibilities
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations management team. Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture. Set clear expectations and performance goals. Identify training needs.
• Operational Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies. Ensure coordination across functions. Drive process optimization initiatives.
• Production Oversight: Oversee production planning and execution. Support the Production Manager in resource allocation and planning.
• Quality & Testing Management: Ensure robust quality control and battery testing processes.
• Operations & Supply Chain Coordination: Supervise supply chain, inventory, procurement, and logistics activities.
• Field Installation & Maintenance: Provide strategic oversight to field service delivery. Establish performance metrics and service level agreements.
• Safety & Compliance: Champion workplace safety and environmental compliance.
• Process & Performance Monitoring: Develop SOPs, KPIs, and operational dashboards. Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Oversee operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with product, engineering, sales, and finance teams.
