A Cloud Systems Engineer is a technical professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to support an organization's IT operations. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies, system administration, and networking.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications: Preferred certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator), and/or relevant vendor-specific certifications.
Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including services such as EC2, S3, Azure Virtual Machines, Google Compute Engine, etc.
Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot network components in the cloud.
Security Awareness: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and the ability to implement security controls and compliance standards.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve cloud-related issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Cloud Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for cloud-based systems.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving cloud technologies and industry trends.
Working model
This is a full-time consultancy job.
You’ll have to be physically present at our offices or even serve remotely for the duration of 1 year with option of extension
