Comprehensive Services: Professional after-sales maintenance centers, automotive-related accessories, and a stable spare parts supply chain

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and execution-driven Marketing Manager to lead Geely Auto’s brand development, product promotion, and sales support in the Rwandan market. You will serve as Geely’s “Chief Storyteller” in Rwanda—shaping the brand narrative, driving integrated online and offline marketing campaigns, expanding market reach, and elevating brand awareness and reputation. Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly integrated marketing communication strategies and budget plans for Geely Auto in Rwanda.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to support product positioning and strategic decision-making.

2. Digital Marketing & New Media

  • Lead the digital ecosystem strategy, including social media, search engines, and major local platforms/apps.
  • Manage online advertising campaigns and optimize ROI through continuous data analysis.
  • Plan and execute online engagement activities, influencer/KOL collaborations, and content marketing to boost awareness and interaction.

3. Brand Events & PR Initiatives

  • Take full charge of planning and executing large-scale offline events such as new car launches, dealer conferences, and auto shows.
  • Manage PR campaigns, media test drives, customer club activities, and other brand events to shape a premium and innovative brand image.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, industry organizations, and key opinion leaders; effectively manage public sentiment.

4. Sponsorships & Cross-Industry Partnerships

  • Evaluate and execute sponsorship projects aligned with the brand’s positioning, including sports, cultural, and commercial activities.
  • Explore cross-industry collaboration opportunities to boost brand exposure and preference among target audiences.

5. Localized Marketing & Dealer Support

  • Provide marketing support, promotional materials, and sales tools to the dealer network, ensuring consistent brand communication.
  • Develop localized marketing campaigns tailored to Rwanda’s festivals, consumer habits, and cultural background.

6. Team & Budget Management

  • Lead or coordinate the local marketing team and external partners (advertising, PR, event agencies).
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring strict cost control and performance evaluation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of marketing experience; automotive industry experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated marketing communications with proven experience in planning and executing major marketing campaigns from zero to delivery.
  • Solid digital marketing expertise, familiar with global social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube) and analytics tools
  • Excellent PR event planning and media relationship management skills.
  • Strong budgeting, analytical abilities, and data-driven decision-making capability.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in French or Kinyarwanda will be a strong advantage.
