The Cashier–Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s daily financial transactions, cash flow, and accurate record-keeping. This role ensures all financial operations are conducted efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. They will support management by preparing reports, reconciliations, and financial documentation while collaborating with other teams to maintain smooth financial processes. The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism, contributing directly to the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.

1. Cash & Payment Management

• Manage daily cash transactions, bank deposits, and petty cash accurately.
• Handle incoming and outgoing payments, invoices, and receipts.
• Ensure proper cash controls and adherence to company policies.

2. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, track payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and financial data.

3. Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and operations teams for billing and collections.
• Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain organized records for audits and management review.

4. Brand Representation & Professionalism

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in interactions with colleagues, clients, and partners.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for financial inquiries within the company.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience in cash handling, accounting, or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda; French is a plus.
• High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
