About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales to lead our Sales efforts and drive the growth of our organization. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic Sales plans, managing a team of Sales professionals, and ensuring the successful implementation of Sales campaigns. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our brand image, expanding our market presence, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development 

Developing and implementing comprehensive Sales strategy aligned with business goals. Identifying target markets. Conducting market research. Defining positioning strategies. 

 

Branding and Positioning 

Developing and managing brand identity within the Logistics industry. Creating unique value proposition. Establishing brand guidelines. Ensuring consistent brand messaging across all Sales channels. 

 

Lead Generation and Conversion 

Implementing lead generation strategies. Developing lead magnets. Implementing Sales automation tools. Optimizing lead capture forms. Driving conversions. 

 

Sales Analytics and Reporting 

Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance and KPIs. Making data-driven decisions. Reporting on Sales initiatives effectiveness. Tracking metrics like lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. 

 

Event Marketing 

Planning and executing industry events participation. Coordinating logistics. Developing promotional materials. Networking with potential customers and partners. 

 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) 

Implementing and managing CRM systems. Tracking and nurturing leads. Managing customer data. Improving customer retention strategies. 

 

Team Management and Collaboration 

Building and managing Sales team. Providing guidance and mentorship. Fostering cross-departmental collaboration. Aligning Sales efforts with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a bias in Sales or related field 

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus 

  • Proven experience as Head of Sales or similar leadership role, preferably in the logistics industry 

  • Strong track record in Sales strategy development and implementation 

  • In-depth knowledge of various Sales channels 

  • Proficiency in Sales analytics and ROI measurement tools 

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities 

  • Creative thinking with attention to detail 

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment 

  • Passion for staying updated on industry trends
