Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple projects focused on training job seekers and placing them into income-generating opportunities. This role involves working closely with funders, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure each project's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are understood and achieved. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of training and employment programs, and the ability to manage diverse client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for funders and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific requirements and expectations.
KPI Management:
Work with relevant teams to understand and define the KPIs for each project.
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including instructional designers, trainers, and placement officers, to ensure project goals are achieved.
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality and effectiveness of training programs and job placement services.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address issues and challenges to keep projects on track.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to funders and stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and communications.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the education, training, or workforce development sectors.
Skills
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to understand and achieve KPIs in a project setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
