As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.

  • Set clear sales targets and objectives for individuals and the team as a whole.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to enhance team performance.

  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Define sales processes and procedures to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.

  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics to track progress towards goals.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor solutions and enhance satisfaction.

  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure retention and loyalty.

  • Act as a brand ambassador and represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted sales strategies.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Recommend and implement initiatives to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience in the sales or marketing field, 3+ working experience in a managerial role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Experience with in person sales.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.

  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and business acumen.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools, such as Zoho or Salesforce.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Willingness to travel as needed
